Wj WJ CB Antenna Mount

I am wanting to do the classic antenna mount on my WJ by mounting it behind the tailight. Has anyone found a place that sells a decent mount to do this or has everyone either made theirs or had theirs made. Either way could someone either shoot me a link to buy one or lead me in the direction to build one that will work. Thanks

Here's the one I used but I mounted it to side of the jeep instead of the rear.

I have one that comes out of the lift gate and makes an L over the taillight. I think I bought it off ebay. Has many different positions and you can put it on either side

^^^^^^ you dont worry about that getting ripped off by a tree or something when wheeling? We have tight trail here in TN and that would be gone in 5 minutes hanging out there like that

OP.......all you need is a small piece of flat steel. I used 4 self tappers to hold mine in place. Cost about 2 bucks.

I'm thinking about getting a door jamb mount for it anyways because I don't like how it makes the taillight sit.

Can you post a picture with the tail light removed?

I used this mount from walcottcb, obviously not made for the Jeep but it works perfect for our application

I can take a better pic of it if you would like... I just drilled couple little holes and mounted it with sheet metal screws.

can also go with this kit if you dont already have a coax cable... really depends on which type of coax connection you want

http://www.walcottcb.com/firestik-mk...kit-p-315.html

just a little side note as well, I flipped the antenna mount and have the bend going upwards so as to move it as far as possible from the taillight. have had it on the Jeep for going on 4 years now, no complaints.
