I only, ever bought the wiring kit, for $17, because my connector was melted. My resistor still worked, so I just replaced the wiring.

I got mine from the Chrysler house. Guy cut me a deal so it cost $92 OTD (normally almost $120 OTD) for the new resistor and wiring kit for my 2001 JGC.

I just bought the updated resistor off ebay for $40 (believe the seller was walltowallsales) and paid 35 at the dealership for the updated wiring harness kit.

Thank you lemiller, that's just what I wanted to know! Sucks paying 35$ for less than two feet of 12 gauge wire

No problem. I got everything installed a few days ago and so far everything is working perfectly. Oh, if you are buying the wiring harenss kit from the dealer I would suggest taking in the exact part number you want. They tried to sell me the old wiring harness kit and seemed skeptical when I told them it wasnt what I needed and there was an updated kit....thank you smart phone for being able to pull up the part number
