Wj WJ 3 inch lift and 33s

Is it possible to run 33s on a WJ with a 3 inch lift? I have 31s now, and they just don't cut it. I know with an IRO 4 inch lift, you can run 285/75r16s. Is it possible ro run this size or a 33x12.50 on a 3 inch lift?

No way you can run 33's on a 3 inch lift without a whole hell of a lot of cutting. I have 31's on a 3 inch lift and I had to trim a little plus add 1 inch spacers so the tires would not rub on the lower control arms.

There is a noob lift chart some where on here....

Did you try googling it? How about going over the threads?

As mentioned above, you can fit 33" tires on a 3" lift, if you want...just keep cutting.

I have the IRO 3" with 31s and just cut my fenders and have plenty of room for 33s now.

That is the direction that I was wanting to go. I may grab some Icelandic Offroad fenders. Those will make room for 33s for sure

Bushwacker is still working on fender flares for the WJ. Here is a link to their Facebook album. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...3781796&type=3

theres a difference between getting them to fit sitting in your driveway and getting them to fit when you are disconnected and fully flexed off road. 33's on a 3'' lift will require a ton of trimming and will limit your ability to stuff that tire into the wheel well...jmo

I would try 4 inches of lift and 33's. The Bushwacker flares will be out at some point this year.

i have not seen them in person but a guy posted on here that saw the bushwackers out in MOAB and his desription was that they have more lateral coverage than vertical clearance. Im iffy on how useful they will be until I see them in person. id go at least 4'' for 33's and be prepared to cut

I have 275/55/20 and a 3" inch lift. Just had to enjoy a bit of trimming and everything worked fine
