Window made popping sound, then quit working?

My driver side window made made a very loud popping sound today when I rolled it down, and then of course, it will not go back up.

It made the popping sound at first, then it wouldn't move, but you could hear the window motor running. Then that also stopped after about 2 seconds.

What do you guys think? Any help is appreciated.

window regulator. order one from ebay. theyre a hundred times cheaper than dealer. Also you can check with a local auto parts store such as advanced auto and buy one with a lifetime warrenty. Theyre a little more pricey though.
