Why can't I upload pictures???!?!?!

Guys, the forum administrators are performing some database work to correct a photo image size where they were all being converted to the undesirable thumbnail size. It should be completed within the next few days. This problem includes the inability to upload new photos as well as existing photos that were uploaded via JF software.

Photos posted using third-party hosting sites will continue to show up and work without problem.

Essentially, there were some complaints about the massive pictures some people would upload "breaking the page format". Due to the complaints, the admins took it upon themselves to "fix" the problem, which then made all pictures on the forums thumbnails, that opened in a new page, instead of just being able to view (mostly) full size images right on the page.

They've been trying for weeks to correct the problem, running the process through a test server. Apparently due to the quantity of pictures, JeepFourm has near half a million attachments, and that's a problem for the new owners of the forum. (Autoguide).

Quite a few of us Moderators complained, and told them to put it back the way it was before they screwed with it and tried to make everything thumbnails, and they've been struggling to ever since.

Attachments are broken, using imgur, photobucket, or other picture hosting sites should work (but may give you tiny, clickable thumbnails)

Thanks for the patience guys.

Sounds like a real nightmare to deal with. Know too well the background stuff that comes up. Hope you get it sorted without too many headaches. For myself, have always used photobucket. Has served me well thus far.

So, is this the reason I can't upload a picture how descent quality from the app?

Pics upload fine, as long as they are the correct size and format.

Limited to 150Kb isn't much of a picture...
