I want to hook up a trans temp gauge. Whose done it and what kind of details can you provide? Thank you!

the PML trans pan has a bung already in it for the sending unit. thats probably the easiest way.

I put on int my ZJ and just place a T inline before and after the cooler to see my before and after temps. Ran the sensor from the T to the gauge in the cab. They are glow shift gauges which I have be extremely happy with. I did this while installing a new transmission so I had plenty of room to work. Might be a little harder on the WJ.

I have seen a WJ with a gauge pod (3) on the a-pillar and that looked pretty cool.

Doesn't the Scangauge unit allow you to monitor the trans temp? Sute would be a lot easier than installing, wiring and risking leaks from an added in unit.
