Where is heated seat fuse?

I know wjjeeps.com shows the heated seat fuse is in the front junction box located under the dash to the left of the steering wheel.... BUT....

when I get under there what I see sure doesn't resemble this:

How do I find the heated seat fuse??

Thanks all.

Thanks Chris, I've seen that pic on wjjeeps page as I listed it..... But how do I GET to it?

Looking under my dash I don't see a box that matches at all...

Do I take the lower dash trim off to get to it???

And don't I have to check C2 ?

It's behind a little panel on the lower left side of the steering wheel under the dash. There should be a cover that pops off.

Ok, I can se I can get to F20. Thanks.

What about C2 as shown in my link to wjjeeps? Don't I need to check that as well?

I get the lights on heated seat switches to light up but both seats suddenly stopped heating. Must be something in common failed.

I replaced both seat elements a year ago.

I'm not positive. It wouldn't hurt to check C2 though...

As I mentioned, do I have to remove lower dash cover by my knees to see the rest? That simple cover down by my feet sure doesn't expose all the rest.

Anyone?

Bugger... I removed the dash section .... Seat heaters both still don't work in spite of switch lights activating...

I replaced the fuse F20 and circuit breaker C2.

Any ideas Chris??

ChrisHager 04-25-2013 05:16 PM

It's underneath and can be seen by looking up under the dash.

I'm not positive on the seats though. Wish I could help more. Hopefully someone else can chime in...

Think ill start a new thread on what else could take out both seat heaters at same time?

Thanks anyway Chris
