What would happen if I remove my front Sway bar ?

I thinking of removing my front sway bar because I been hearing a squeaking noise especially going at speed 10-15 MPh on bumpy road . Ball Joint are old but the suspension is tight . This Squeaking noise is driving me crazy nobody know where is coming from .

2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 2wd

I think the noise is coming from the sway bar so I might take off and drive like that ..
I don't think it will make a different driving with out a sway bar ?

Be careful without it in. I wouldn't just drive around with it. I dont plan on keeping mine out for ever.
You may need to get new sway bar links or grease up the bushings, if you now know the sway bar is the issue.

Nobody know where that annoying squeaking noise is coming from , I guessing is the sway bar . Suspension are tight is coming from the right front wheel only . I loosing my patience with this Jeep. I might go back to Ford .

Go buy a spray can of white lithium grease or silicone spay and lube each bushing 1 at a time and see when it stops squeaking or do them all and be done with it until you can replace them.

I did that already and still the noise is there , I thinking is the shock absorber because suspension is tight.

For just checking if the sway bar is the noise culprit, taking it off for a quick drive will be ok. Just keep the speed down if you are risk avoidant.

Me, I have mine undone quite often for wheeling. Then it takes a few weeks before I reconnect it. The main issues is when unconnected, that when leaving the traffic lights in town with foot to floor, sometimes towing a trailer, the whole rig twists like a full blown drag car, and it gets a bit old.
