What tool do I need to remove my fan shroud

without taking the front end apart? This is on an 03 4.0 WJ. The search results I've gotten seem to vary. Several people said it's possible. Some said it's not. Some said they made a special tool for it. But the tools used seem to vary. So what exactly do I need? Do I need a bunch of extensions or just a small flexible wrench like this one on amazon? I haven't really looked at where the bolts are yet. I did look at the diagram though.

edit: this is the part that sounds difficult:

The lower driver side bolt is nearly impossible to get to. From above, the steering box is in the way. I ended up using a combination of a swivel head socket, 18" extension, universal joint and a 6" extension. I came at the bolt from underneath. Not easy and by far the most difficult part of the project.
Do I really need all that?

I took my fan out of my 2001 with just a 10 mm boxed end wrench... a gear wrench would help a lot when doing this though.

I wouldn't recommend this but I heated the tip of a regular screwdriver with a torch and melted through the lower driver side tab because it was so tough to get at and I didn't have the tools for it. I just made sure to tighten the other three bolts well and haven't had a problem. It sees mostly highway and roads. Been well for a year now.

gear wrench is no good unless it pivots. you will probably have the best luck bending the end of a 10mm wrench.
