I am on 17x7's (I think is what the OEM Rogue's are) with 265/70/R17 tires.

I am also on a 4" lift not 2". But here is a pic.

I believe the Rogue's are 17x8. I just sold mine and measured before I did. I just upgrade to 2011 5 spoke and they are 17x9.

255, 265 may be too wide since stock for that rim is 235

The biggest tire you can run with a BB with no rubbing and no trimming of the fenders is a 245/70/17

Rims are measured to the inside of the bead lip, not the overall width. I'm thinking the measurements are actually 17x7 and 17x8.

This. 265/65-17 is an option as well, but depending on backspacing and tire width, you might have rubbing up front and/or on the rear shocks.

general rule is 4.5" tread width more than bead width and you should bump up a size.
those tires are barely 1.5" wider than stock and definitely not in the range that's uncomfortable for that wheel. may be uncomfortable for the wheel well or control arms on the wrong back space.

I did measure inside bead. not 100% certain I am remembering right though if it's 7 or 8" I just know my new 2011 rims are a inch wider.

I would suggest 245/70/17 that way you can put one on your spare rim as well and drop it back in the factory location, any thing bigger will not fit under the spare tire cover.

yeah I think I'll go with 245/70-17. but maybe I'll get some commander "hulk" rims or "moab" and get them black painted.

I just found this on flickr:

"02 Overland with Fat Bobs BB, 17in. Rubicon rims, 245-70-17's"

Which I'm currently running. Mine are worn out, probably 25% tread, and it's close. I have a brand new tire, put it on just to see, and couldn't even pull in the driveway without it ripping plastic pieces off the vehicle. My front's don't rub, but I've cut most of the front bumper off.

Are yours street tread? I put the same size street treads on for an inspection, and they were at least 3/4" smaller than the 25% tread MTs that I have on it now.
