What gauge is the speaker wire at the amp?

Adding in a powered sub and want to tap into the speaker inputs at the amp, anyone know the approximate gauge of the wiring? 20?

While your waiting for answer and I'm not sure what it is, but as long as you = or exceed the gauge it will be ok. Speaker wire bigger gauge is more for lower loss and sound quality than current capacity.

Im pretty sure its 20, could be 22. its little... I ran 16 to my doors and 8 to my sub. but I figured why not, do it right once

Have to think too, the stock amp is pushing very little power to the speakers... mine wasnt in bad shape, but I didnt wanna chance it

It looks to be 20 gauge. Even if it is small wiring the stock infinity amp is pretty decent (atleast for me). I mean jeeze its crazy loud after swapping the front "tweeters" for polk db351s. I swapped out the rears for polk dxi650s too now I need front door speakers but can't do them just yet.
