The black Jeep is mine. The red one in the background is one of the owners of IRO. And it has the 6.5" kit and 35" tires

Finished brakes. NAPA Optima at all 4 corners now. Stops quick now ! Only 1 lug nut was screwed up. $25 to get it removed. Some jerk forgot to set the torque when he change tires. That's what you get with a used car.............

Well I was hoping to install my new IRO front LAs today. Went out for some Aarons and the water pump decided it was going to blow a shaft seal (20 miles from home). So had to run and get parts then use a friends garage to put the new one on, luckily it had only taken me about 1.5 hours to do it.

Fixed emergency brake switch. A lot of Philips screws had to be removed. I guess no engineer ever spilled a soft drink down console ! PITA to clean open contacts. Poor design.............

Replaced instrument panel center lower bezel. Found a used part in the salvage yard in Atlanta. Cleaned and painted. Made 1 good bezel from 2. Tested seat heater switches to get 2 good parts, got a good Power cover to work with detent spring, got a good ash tray assembly to open/close and all dash lights working. Hours of work ,$10 in parts !

Had a slight oil leak. Some one at the quick lube did not tighten the oil filter. Replace it with a Wix 1773 to get an addition quart.

Don't worry... I'm not going anywhere... Taking delivery of the new toy next week. I already have a Jeepforum sticker ready to go.

Hell yeah the 5.9. My roommate has one already. He has 3" exhaust, no cat, and glasspacks on it. We threw a 242 in it with a locker in the rear. It's pretty fun. And by pretty fun, I mean breaking the tires loose at 30 mph makes me giggle like a 12 year old school girl. Can't wait to get one of my own! (A 5.9, not a school girl... weirdos)
