I did the glass and hood, but not the lift gate, a couple of months ago because I bought it during the summer and it worked fine. But now that it's getting colder I can tell I'm going to need to do the liftgate also. It takes holding it there for a second or two to get it to stay. b.o.t. hooked up an old cb and noticed when I revved the engine the crackling/static kind of goes up with the RPMs. I'm thinking bad ground or two many power lines ran to close together. I'll get it.

run both your power and negative to the battery from your CB. that helps.

My heated seats not working also. I got a panel with"new" switches and took it apart. I found a bad switch. The two plastic ears that move the contacts are broken. What a POS ! Who the F***k would design such a cheap switch in a $30,000 car ?

Capitalists. Been there, done that last week. Next thing, one of the bulbs behind the temperature control panel will go out and drive you crazy. I just replaced two of them. I'm sure you've done the window regulators and blend doors? Door weather strips? Hatch support lifts? What about the battery terminals? CPS? Driver seat foam or bracket? And it goes on and on and on...

No ****. I worked for IBM for 50 years fixing stuff. I like a challenge but some of this stuff is stupid. Like Chrysler designing a 3.5lL V6 that needs a new timing belt and water pump every 100K !
