It's a Jeep, it's not supposed to work right all the time.

Got the "OK" from the doctor to drive come Friday. I've spent more time on JF than I have with the actual Jeep in the last two weeks. No good...

Also... Joined the VA Jeep Offroad group on FB.

Nice. Where from? Mine's sitting in a box just taunting me, but I can't get to it until next week.

Except hand you parts over the counter, and transmission flashing.

The JY in Columbus is closer to you and is having half off this weekend and they have a 99 and a 01 in the yard. So you can pick up a door for under 25 bucks. Time to go pickin'.
Where is the JY in No. Kentucky? Covington area?

Stereo and Rocker Rust repair

I finally completed my stereo. Stock head unit and disc changer, Alpines in the doors, JL's in the dash, 10" bazooka tube in the back and an MB Quart amp to run it all. It SCREAMS!

Also, I cut away all the rust on the passenger side rocker, filled with spray foam, and bondo'ed over it. Bought some matching paint at Autozone and you can't even tell! Took many layers of bondo and lots of sanding but the final result was worth it. Now I'm rust free (for now).

More like yesterday, but I pulled a d44a vari-lok from an 02 overland. 176,000 miles on it (I took its gauge cluster too) and it was perfect inside. Did I mention I bought it for $69? Im going to swap it in next monday. The gauge cluster im not sure about yet since it has less mileage than my current one, but its the fancy set ive been looking for.

Sent from inside my 4.0.
