I have used my shackles and I feel for what I paid they are worth it. And the antenna mount is a simple DIY. I used a scrap piece of metal I had and cut it to fit and drilled a few holes.

Trying to figure out how this happened. Maybe a little too much change in my ashtray?

If anyone has a black one with heated seat controls, let me know!

How much and how big is your whip? Did you bolt it on inside the light?

5' fire stick. When you take out the tail light assembly the top edge of the body is nice and flat. My DIY mount is about 5 or 6" long by about 3" wide. Tapered the outer side to contour around the antenna and so not to snag your arm of you were to get close. I used 6 self tapping screws up in to the body. Pretty easy really.
I did notice the store bought mounts have a bend in them and my flat one makes my antenna point foward just little. It doesn't bother me, so I left it but I'm sure you could bend it to sit straight.

I think you can just push that back ^in. Just line up the black tabs with the red holes.

Mine pops out every once and a while. Just pop it back in.

re-did the sliders and a little of the body with duplicolor spray-on bedliner. not bad...comes out a little thick and left a few drip marks, but from the top it looks fine. might sand the drips down this week and put on another coat. going to try and do fender lines and wheel wells before next weekend. also got my tantrum rock lights laid out/mocked up. going to have the main wire come in the trunk where i cut out spare tire, and run to junction box under my rear seat. i ran the wire along the e-brake line, and up into my center console so the control box will be in the CC. ran the power wire under center console up to power wire. going to re-install CC and back seat this week. still have them out from lizard-skinning the floor a couple weeks back.
