Replaced the hatch and hood struts. Hood struts didn't come as a pair (oops), but one is doing the trick for now.

I went to Napa Auto last summer and got a pair for something like $35. I don't know what they go for from Mopar, but I am reasonably confident that they aren't that cheap.

Did your hatch struts make a loud popping noise every time you opened the lift gate? Just wondering because mine sounds like hell when I open it.

they did pop, but in cold and wet weather, i had to "pump" the hatch to get it stay up (that's what she said)...as far as the hood...both were shot. I actually went to amazon and got the rear struts for 30/pair and paid 12 (for one, grrrr) for the hood. Shipping was free.

The rear is solid, but the screws stripped with ease--gott'em in place though. Front went on lickity split.

My rear hatch makes one loud pop when I open it. I assumed it was the hinge, so I never looked at it closely. Struts are cheap & easy to replace if that will resolve me issue.

I sprayed some WD-40 up in the hinges... smoother and quite! Then I bought new struts and now it takes more effort to close then to open!

I guess one day when I'm not being so lazy, I'll remove the struts. If pop goes away, I'll know it's not the hinge making the noise.

I've done the AC E-vap, Heater core deal..... it took hours and hours to pull the dash, but it wasn't hard, just required time. The Cranshaft Sensor was just a PITA from the word go. Nothing fun about it.

.....Niiiice!

I've just been driving to/from work every day. I still need to swap in a NV242 since my Part Time is damaged. In the interim, maybe I should just label it "No Time". Hehehe. Replaced the wipers recently. Otherwise, I'm thankful to have had such a lengthy period without costly issues.
