I mean I'm not in your area, but why is the wait time so heavy? It doesn't look liek very many cars are on the beach with you.

Wow. Mine took about 2 minutes with my low-powered hands

It's a Jeep, it's not supposed to work right all the time.

Hopefully this week. Went out of town for the weekend for wedding anniversary and just got back today. I want someone with experience to come help me since I'm apprehensive about doing it by myself

Window Rack

I stumbled across the Window Rack that Dirt Bound Offroad has available for XJs only and figured I could make one simple enough for my WJ. I put pencil to graph paper and came up with a good design.

Here's how it came out:

Installed

I got it welded up yesterday afternoon and then over the course of last night and today put 4 coats of Plasti-dip spray on it so it wouldn't rattle against the window. The tabs on the top that hold it in I dipped in the Plasti-dip bottle two coats so it's not scratching anything. It fits exact but Im going to drive a couple self tappers through the bottom bar any way.

My plan is to make one for the other side and hang MOLLE/PALS compatible bags to give me more storage for small items. Here's my FAIK and binos hanging off it to give you an idea.

Please do elaborate - I just installed my d44, cut off the brackets and moved them up to 0 degrees - wanting the practice before doing my 14bolt ff

These remind me of the armored bars on the Mercedes in Jurassic Park 2

Changed the battery as the old one was dying a slow (and natural) death. As its winter in Southern Hemisphere, I didn't want my wife and kids stranded somewhere with a dead battery (WG is her daily driver).

This is also true... but in a pinch, I always have this as a back up. Oh and btw, I'm moving to the PHX/Gilbert area next June... how's the trails/wheelin out there?
