Did you know that if that were true, K&N would no longer be in business because their products would not sell. So, something about them must have consumers hitched because they keep selling and selling.

Keep your stock air filter in there.

Finally gave mine a bath.
Still looking at a replacement headunit. If you plan on replacing/upgrading your headunit get the install kit ,wiring harness and antenna adapter from amazon. Paid under $25 for it all . Best buy wanted over $60 for everything .

Actually i heard it from many people and someone on here was nice enough to provide everyone with real life data to show that k&n filters are poop when it comes to filtering the air. No doubt that k&n filters do get more air into the engine, but at the expense of allowing a numerous amount of fine particles to enter as well. People just buy them because they claim 2-5hp.

Here we go again

If it's easy to get to it's probably not worth seeing.

Not really, they do about the same. The only selling point for me was the pro dry filter that does not require oiling. Also synthetic fiber vs paper. I had credit with 4WP and used it on this purchase. Price wise the K&N is more affordable, but I'm very happy with the results with the AFE. I have installed a few intake kits over the years. I was very impressed with the quality of the AFE. Hope this helps.

replaced my right front door lock actuator, after finding out a set I ordered from someone on another board were for the rears. Took a run to a local junkyard and they have tons of WJs sitting there. Also learned that I need to use a torx driver not just a hex key that will fit LOL. I stripped 1 of the 3 bolts holding my driver's side front doro lock actuator in. Imagine that I got the others loose, and 1 presented a problem. Also at the yard stripped 1 of 3 on many doors, until I got a torx driver from a worker there, and was able to remove the stripped 1 also. Prolly shoulda just used his to removed the one on my WJ that I stripped. But gonna run to harbor freight tomorrow and buy 1. Definitely a tool I should have in my tool box

Current 2007 WK Graystone Pearl V8 4.7 limited fully loaded. Current mods Escort 9500 IX tapped into rearview mirror and mounted under mirror with bicycle reflector bracket. 6K HIDs in Lows and 3K HIDs in Fogs
