My 31s on soft 8s fit in the spare tire well too. Its the largest tire I see using.

Looks awesome man. I put on my OME HD lift last week and have been really happy. Even with the crappy shocks on it. Bilsteins will be here soon and then it is going to be AMAZING! I have not put on my JKS TB because I am only at 2 inches of lift over stock in all 4 corners.

Yeah the OME HD and bilsteins are great on our WJs. As for the track bar might as well put it on as its a super easy install.

Over the last week I painted all the plastic, skids, and the roof rack with black spray on bed liner.

Dropped 70 bucks into the gas tank today. woohoo. It is about 90 degrees here today and the AC was having a hard time keeping up. Granted I like it freezing cold. But, I may need to check the system and see if it needs recharged. Or have the dealer empty it and put new refrigerant in it.

How can you tell if it needs recharging? My AC doesn't feel as cold as it should be, but it may just be so damn hot my brain thinks it's not working right lol. With dual climate control will it pull a code if it needs recharging?

It may be in my head too. But you can get those little recharge kits from wal-mart and autzone with a little gauge on it that tells you if it low or not. I am not 100% on how accurate those little things are. But, I have on in my garage and I will hook it up at somepoint and see if its low. And to answer your question, no I do not believe it would throw a code for low refrigerant. I do not know if it is freeon (spelling) or not. But I am pretty sure it is 134a is the type of stuff that goes in there.

It won't throw an AZC code.

Your A/C will only produce air that's about 20-30 cooler than outside ambient temp, and that will vary with system component condition, as well as humidity, and air flow across the condenser. On my house's unit, I have a sprinkler setup to spray directly on the condenser outside, with the hose over running to a spigot near my door. I can turn the sprinkler on, and within a few minutes, the air from the house's vents is coming out a good 10 degrees cooler.

Okay, i didnt think it would throw a code.

You are right, it can only cool down the warm air so much. Thats why when you put the jeep on recirc it comes out cooler, right?

That is a nifty little trick, cool down the coils more to cool down the freeon. We have three large units on our house, haha. I may need another hose! But, they keep the house at 68 to 70 degrees w/o much problem

narnwv - whats the refrigerant called in our jeeps 134a? Is 134a a type of freeon?

That's how the recycle button helps, but outside temp plays a bigger role.

R134a is what's used in our Jeeps. It's a refrigerant, but not freon.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freon

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1,1,1,2-Tetrafluoroethane

There are other products that have a lower boiling point than R134a, and cool way faster, but we'll not discuss those on here, as I'm unsure of the legality of using them in everyone's areas.
