100mph for 2 staples? There was way more at risk having gone that fast.

I do.. and I agree that driving at that speed put the child and other drivers at high risk.... if injury is that serious, call 911.

That depends on where you live, it would take me about 10 minutes driving 80mph to get to the hospital, it takes an ambulance 15 minutes minimum to get to my house. If my kid busts his head open im not waiting for an ambulance when I can be at the hospital before the ambulance gets to my house.

Installing brake controller in WJ today, had a day to kill before camping trip. So I thought I ahead and install my bc, I pulled the dash out, and all the work I've done I've never had to get into the dash. So I pulled the cover under steering and there's a seat belt wrapped around my hvac unit, is that normal LOL.
Hers a pic, thnx

Pretty much the scenario. I'm 3x closer to the hospital than the ambulance depot is to me.

Basically when there's enough blood to look like a murder, you do what you think is best for your child. To me, it was best to drive afap to the hospital, rather than wait 30+ minutes for an ambulance like last time I had to call one. (elderly neighbor had a heart attack) I knew my limits, and wouldn't have driven any faster than I felt was safe. I was on open 4 lane interstate nearly 95 percent of the time. (where the limit is 70)

I have driven 100+ just cause I had to poop. I would hate to see how fast I would go in an emergency!

Yeah, and FWIW, I only hit 100 for a short minute in a straight stretch of lighted, empty interstate. It's a lifted Jeep, I don't even like driving it at 70, but my son's well being (and screaming) was the only thing on my mind.

Yeah like I said I would be hauling too. 911 response is pretty decent here being a tad on the urban side and its a guaranteed front of the line at the er. Otherwise you could be filling bandages with blood and youll sit for hours (happened to me when I needed 15 stiches) I sat in the er room filling up paper towels cause they didnt seem to care.

But yeah if my son was in that situation under the same conditions Id have done the same thing.
