Nice Jeep. Where did you hook the ropes to? I'm putting a canoe on mine next weekend and not sure where to hook the front. I do have the factory roof rack and cross rails.

I washed and polished it with Nu Finish. It looks sweet, however I found more scratches and two small dents in the roof from one of the previous owners.

I just used the tow hooks up front. I thought my roof rack was loud. The sound with the yak on top is terrible. I am investing in a kayak trailer soon. That seems to be the way to go.

It's a Jeep, it's not supposed to work right all the time.

I don't have tow hooks yet, so I'll have to figure something out.

^ Nothing a hammer can't fix right? Kidding of course, but in all seriousness, if it doesn't then you need a bigger hammer. It's always a good answer. Ran out of bigger hammers? Then its mini sledge time, then big sledge, see where I'm going with this?

If that doesn't work then I just cut it in half with a torch. It had it coming anyway! Smashey, (my engineers hammer) told me so! Then go buy a new bracket, they're cheap
