Finally got my rack back on. Had a minor hick up with the roof rails. Two of my six mounting nuts were rusted and the body that held them was cracked and needed to be fixed. So fun, . trying to replace and fix it without removing the entire head liner. PITA. Touched up the Front grill (thanks for the idea). She looks alot better.

Hey did you notice a significant mpg decrease when you put your tire roof rack on?

Built my roof rack out of some scrap conduit that was used as part of a container to ship pool tables. Some 1/2" connectors and 2coats of paint. All together 6 bucks

Hey did you notice a significant mpg decrease when you put your tire roof rack on?

Less than a mile. But she drives alot better. Its like she has a full tank all of the time, so grounded. Especially on the free way.

added some hdf to the drivers side left bolster. support now is wayyy better

Picked up a wix trans filter kit.
I can't remember, do I need 6 or 7 quarts atf 4?

almost finished painting my BTF battery box, filled her up with gas, going to jeep club meeting tonight, and picking up a new (to me) 44a tomorrow. anyone interested in a Vari-Lok d44a with Clayton Long Arm mounts already on it?

Drove to to court picking up some U bolts in a bit to properly mount my roof rack.

Replaced upper ball joints. Balanced all four wheels and realignment. Drives like a dream again.

That's next on my list too...I have upper control arm mount bushings, front coil spacers...just waiting on ball joints andnext weekend.
