Today was a fun day, I got a new CB antenna and I made a mount for it and mounted it by the tail light, I plan on cutting off the edges and making it round. Also went in the woods. But how do you guys think it looks??

Finally installed my damn heat shield for my aFe intake. After having finally dealt with fitting/customizing it in, I would never recommend their product to anyone, least not on the basis of an easy install.

These bits were what I had to cut off to just get it so I could close the hood with it in there, it was like I was sent the wrong one, but the documentation and everything was for a WJ. (The quarter is there for size comparison)

Also changed her oil and serpentine belt.

Those look awesome. Great combo with the wheels. Where did you get those sliders?

Love my 4.7 WJ!!! Changed plugs today. Inherited jeep 2 months ago. Jeep has 178,200 miles on it. Think these are original plugs!!!! Gap was over 1.0 on all 8 plugs. Even with no electrode left it ran like a champ. It's like new now. What an awesome engine.

thanks man! its just 1.5x3 mounted to the stock overland sliders ( the stock tubes rusted through sooo bad)
chopped to 69" then straight welded.... so easy not having to make custom mounts

Jimimhandicap that is ridiculous!!

I was driving on an "Improved Surface" which is better than nothing, but not much. Went over a bump and caught my muffler on a log. It pulled it apart and broke the spot welds I had. The muffler sagged down to like 1" off of the ground.

Saggin my pants:

Lifted it back up, put the clamps back on, and put some real welds on it. It's still not right where its supposed to be, but it's better than it was. I'll finish it tomorrow when the rain stops. Hopefully it holds a little better...

I'd also planned on taking off the other three window deflectors... Stupid rain.

I like it, is there anyway to cut it shorter, and push it closer to the light? Then maybe it wont catch anything.

How long did that take you and what did you need for special tools? I'm thinking of doing one of mine this summer.
