Will greatly improve your painting experience, especially if you're set on using aerosol cans instead of a paint gun. My rule of thumb is primer sand repeat until it feels smooth then paint and w/d sand until it looks smooth. Then clear coat and w/d sand with 1000+ grit sandpaper until it's perfect. Of course, I'm not a professional so, take that for what it's worth
Looks like ive put my shopping cart together. Thanks for the advice!

Didn't get the oil pressure sending unit today, so oil change gets postponed until next weekend. But I removed CD changer from the back to get some much needed extra space for straps etc which is now nicely put away in the box where cd changer used to be. Pics coming in later, though it was a 5-minute job and I just needed a phillips screwdriver.

Tested out the flex with my new to me shocks
(sorry about the sun glare)

Jeep started running hot today, picked up a thermostat today and should have a new/used radiator coming soon. Hope it fixes the problem.
What antifreeze is everyone running in their jeep?

You should only run Mopar HOAT coolant, or Zerex G-05 in your 4.7

I can't remember what I used last time. Who sells that coolant?

In my area, you have to get it from dealer or wait 24 hours for a local parts house to get it from the warehouse as no one seems to keep it in stock... if you just walked in and purchased anti freeze, you are almost guaranteed to have gotten the wrong stuff.

Is there any research behind this? I've never used that coolant that I know of, I just get the green 50/50 stuff, always have.

My stock headlights have fogged over, so I'm going to attempt to clean them up and then tint them. I went to the junkyard this morning and picked up a very clean set of headlights, in case I mess up my current set.
Also took the hood louvers from a wrecked 5.9, though I think I'm going to use them on my CJ instead. The engine was still complete, but the interior had been picked apart and the grille was broken.

Napa sells it around here. And to those wondering just don't use GM style dex-cool in any Jeep. The early 4.0s and maybe 4.7s had regular green and then somewhere around 02 all WJs were factory filled with G-05 so if you have that, keep running it. To convert to G-05 several really good flushes with distilled water becuase the g-05 and the conventional type will NOT play nice when they mix

the "green" as stated most likely said for "all makes and models" is a etholyene glycol base. Since I am a non dealer supporter I go to napa and get the "right stuff" haha

Also today finally had time to fix my overheating situation from a couple weeks ago. Ended up testing the fan on the battery (source voltage) and with a flick of the fan it actually moved but the cracking confirmed my hypothesis of the ball bearings gone bad. Also I ended up replacing the relay for sh!ts and gigs
