Got my d30 diff cover on. Tried to install the lockright, but failed. First i found out the d30 has a roll pin holding the cross pin in, instead of a screw (like real diffs.) After fighting with it for an hour i found out you have to remove the carrier to get it out correctly. Then after you do that, you have to remove the ring gear to get the cross pin out cause it wont come pass the teeth. So i figured screw it! I put the cover on, and put it all back together. Then after that dilema the caliper spring broke inside the caliper. So i left the jeep on the rack and drove the diesel home. Ill prolly be buying a caliper in the morning seeing as how i broke 2 drill bits trying to get the old spring out. What a fun day!

I swapped the head unit on our WJ the other day. I liked the stock one but it had an issue playing from aux sources and would pop and crackle when we played music. Now the new one is too good, the rear speakers distort (obviously only when turned up), any recommendations on a cheap yet better than stock set for the rear?
