Mine blew the starter/battery fuse. I have heard of entire wiring harnesses frying when this happens or even batteries exploding.

it blew the fuse b/c you have a problem somewhere in the system. First check your power wires and make sure they're not grounding out anywhere. I once (on a diff. car) had a power wire to the starter melt to an exhaust header, it ruined my day...

Really? I thought it was a safeguard against frying your wiring if it is accidentally cross jumped.

well that could cause it too... but how often does that happen? if it blew without you cross jumping it... something had to cause it to blow...

Fuses don't just randomly blow... they only blow if something goes wrong... that something could be a lot of things... could also be an internal short in the starter if you don't see any external shorts.

Limited WJ gauges came in the mail today so I installed the whole Limited gauge cluster in my Laredo WJ. Dash looks much better now and loving the look, especially at night.

Started wrapping my steering wheel in 550 paracord. What an arduous task!!

installed new switches, need to finish the wiring on a couple though still.
