i got quoted $500 to have it built a few months ago, but #200 is too much unless youre gonna put some spacers up front to even it out

my old steel bumper was maybe 150 tops, and it pulled my front end down 1.25". and that's on brand new IRO coils. for the money, iceland's worth it. otherwise, try a tube bumper like this with smaller diameter. then you should be closer to 100#

"Sticks" as we refer them are 20' long and weigh about 40lbs....

I had also purchased, 1/8" sheet metal to wrap on the inside of the tubing as shown in that picture you posted...id say 5-10 lbs at most....it was about 12" x the lenght around the front of WJ...cant remember exactly...

plus some 3/8" 4"x4" plates to make brackets....1-2 lbs a piece...

Now that I think about it...hold on...gotta do a set ...it wasnt too heavy..

at any rate, I would have gotten 1.5" or maybe 1.25" DOM but the die for the bender I was using was 1 3/4"...i was stuck there...

AppleHill used 1 3/4" DOM also, i called them way back...

*** Now that I think about it, again, that 1 stick did not include the stinger or the radiator support...so add half a stick there for both and probably a few more feet for the kickers...

back on topic....

trimmed the front bumper with electric metal shears in prep to finally put it back on, very nice and easy to cut with, although i think i may not be too even; i'll trim some more once it's mounted. (finally fed up with hearing shiat about it from the in-laws when i park it in front of the office with no bumpers)

and my BTF d44a cover was delivered earlier. waiting to get home and fondle it

pics later when i get the bumper back on and the diff cover
