Wasnt to bad getting everything out, i have a nice 12v hitachi impact that gets the job done fast. Reasonaing behind doing it is i HATE carpet, plus it was nasty from the PO, stains, smells ect... the bedliner holds up great on the inside, plus when it gets dirty, wash it out with the hose! trucks/jeeps shouldnt even come with carpet in my eyes! I just cut the carpet around the seatbelts and tie downs to save time...

I thought the military used humvees!
What is this!
I would however take this on as a project!

You shall know widen your sunroof!
Make yourself a platform on the center console!
Fab and mount a turret to the recently widened sunroof!
And finally mount the .50 of choice!

Just make sure they know it's you and not some nut job...

it was a humvee!!! it's still a hummer so it's all the same and ya a .50 cal would be a sweet edition to my WJ build... but I don't think it's gonna happen ha

and yes one day I hope they go back to jeeps!!! maybe like the J8 or something?

Haha true true..
This does however makes me want to go to Egypt and buy a J8..

I'd be the only true pickup/military jeep in the northeast!

It's a shame jeep doesn't sell a military or pick up version...
I say pickup only because of how easy it is to retrofit a .50 cal mount on it

Ah, I was under the impression that you were gonna put the carpet back in over the top of that.

i helped out Cubsfan(bunchofnumbers) throw on his 2 inch spacer lift, went smoothly. changing the steering stablizer was the worst part... had to bust out the angle grind to remove a nut.. putting on his bilsteins made me jealous

Well when z-day happens I was going to mount a RWS or a Crow with a m2. That way I can just reload thru the sun roof.
