Cleaned and masked.
By no means am I knocking it. Just every time I see black wheels with no other color to them it makes me think of those vehicles that if you take the hubcap off it'll show this all flat black wheel. Like the 90's Honda Civics for instance. Some color vehicles it looks ok on. Red, it doesn't look that bad on. But just my opinion. Most everyone else here will probably love it.

Does the center cap help?

forumrunnerimage.jpg

I'm thinking about some maroon jeep letters to match the body.
I'm trying to get rid of all the ugly gold trim on my heep.
Votes please?

Yeah. If they were beadlocks you could also add more chrome bolts.

He drove away in a HUMMER (Eeeeeeeek)..... he needs to turn in his MAN CARD as well as his Jeep card.... Sorry, No Mercy for such a person

Around here, when the roads get bad, the Hummers all disappear and all you see on the roads are Jeeps.

Washed it, detailed it, installed freshly painted "Freedom Edition" roof rails. Still need to install the cross bars and I tested out my hidden aux input. 01-04 factory PS/fan cooler to aux transmission conversion starts tomorrow.

Thanks! I just took my old faded peeling ones off, bead blasted them, primered them, and picked up 3 cans of "Radiant silver metallic" and painted them. the cross bars I left black since they looked good and had no rust. I just need to put them back on. Cost me all of $27 for paint supplies and some time. I dont like the all murdered out look but with the right accents on a dark vehicle like this it can look really good. So instead of chrome im going for more of a brushed chrome/stainless look. My tow hooks are still chrome but they blend in nicely. My old roof bars were an eye sore, now they really accent the entire Jeep.
