Replaced both pass side TRE's, replaced the front pads and rotors, rotated and balanced the tires, did an alignment, put some snap-on tools stickers on that the tool truck driver gave me, and reglued my rearview mirror back on the windshield. Its been and exhausting day seeing as how i did this all after working 10 hours, and i still have to finish putting a trans in a lumina and R&R a trans in my buddies s10 xtreme TONIGHT! Ill be looking forward to this long weekend.

It's a Jeep, it's not supposed to work right all the time.

i fixed my heater control plug (resistor plug) today.i did this by carefully cutting the melted plug apart with my dremel tool.then crimped the factory connetors a little for a tigher fit on the posts. then slid heat shrink tubing over each wire and factory connector so that the tubbing was flush with the end of connector.apply a little heat with a bic.plug back in.really nice to have heat again.may not be a good fix but will get me by till i can fix it right.

The Christmas break allowed me to do some modifications that I had been dying to do for quite awhile.

The first order of business was blacking out my stock rims.

Then I wanted to black out my grille.

p1010034.jpg

Finally, I painted twin hoodscoops to match my whitestone jeep body (even though in the picture they look like two different whites) but am unable to match the plastic scoop finish with the finish on my jeep. Am open to any comments about possible products to use or even if this is just an unnecessary addition and will detract from my hopes of making it look more offroadish.

Order some Dupicolor spray paint from Autobarn.com, or stop by your local auto parts store. I just picked up some cans of Stone White from Napa for $6 per can (mid size cans) to paint my flares and bumper. I have already painted my sliders with it, and it looks great. The paint is really good match.
