Took the front doors off on Tuesday so I could start my tube door project. You should see the looks on peoples faces. All I need now is a second set of speakers and I can take the backs off. Also picked up a set of 4 7" 24v led lights hehe my future is getting brighter..now just how to wire up those pesky things....

His profile says he has a 97 ZJ with the D44a.... is this correct? Is there a limited slip in the d44a, or is it open?

Are you going through the process in your build thread or another thread? I'd love to see what you end up doing on those tube doors.

This is my question.... does a 97 ZJ even have Vari loc? I wasn't even sure about the D44a .... did he pull this axle from a WJ, or is his profile wrong?

I have a question, 2000 WJ (totally stock) with I6 and Quadra Drive system.. front driveshaft (cv joint at each end) was recently replaced... rear driveshaft, does it have normal u-joints that are replaceable?

I'm not where I can go look....

New boots on the Jeep today. Firestone Destination A/T tires in the 245/70R16 variety. Not too shabby.

If you're gonna run a stock Wj atleast throw the largest size tire you can fit without having to trim too much
