I was getting worried after reading like three posts in two days about rust issues on the underside. I spent about two hours under the WJ with a pressure washer and a brillo pad. No rust anywhere

That is pretty clean for an east coast vehicle

Took her out on her maiden voyage and broke my left front axle cv joint 1 hour into the day. Worst part is that I was still on the main road through the offroad park!

Either they didn't know how to measure or you need some tuning on your suspension. I got a 970 with mine last time.

I thought the degree, wheelbase and length of travel up the ramp were put into an equation to give you your number

I dunno. They measured hub to hub before, and hub to hub at full flex and then gave me a number. Maybe it was 670? I don't remember. What's it look like to you?

It's a Jeep, it's not supposed to work right all the time.

I would say 670 is closer to what is looks like. A stock CJ probably does 350.

Picked that same $10 grinder yesterday. Have yet to try it out. For 10 bucks don't think it'll disappoint.
