What were you're symptoms on gear box?

it wasnt doing all too much but, the seals were bad on it and it was leaking a ton, so i figured i just get everything replaced to reduce future headaches.

What's wrong with using ATF in power steering?

Youre not supposed to use AT4F in WJ power steering systems.

Semi-fixed the stock 10 cd changer. It now plays cd's... some of the time. oh well, it's like having the random shuffle button on all the time (you never know what'll play next).

Straight from WJJeeps.com

MoparŪP/N 04883077 Hydraulic fluid / Power steering fluid (MS5931)
MS5931 IS THE ONLY FLUID THAT CAN BE USED FOR THE POWER STEERING SYSTEM. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Important note:
The factory fill power steering fluid for all 1999-2004 Grand Cherokees is a unique fluid, MS5931. ATF+4 (MS9602) should not be mixed or used as a “topping off” fluid on the Grand Cherokee WJ. All WJ models should be serviced using ONLY the special MS5931 fluid. ATF+4 is NOT an approved Power Steering Fluid and should never be used under any circumstances. Note that all fluids will darken in color with usage and fluid color is no longer an indication of fluid condition.

I mean why would you go against the manual...

I finally got my rear sway bar on. I've been hearing for 3 years how this one item is the best thing you can do at any height to get rid of the boat-like feel to the WJ. I've only driven ~6 miles since I put it on today, but it's for sure worth every penny. It'll help a lot once the COG is higher.

Check the difference between the tiny little factory rear sway bar, and this Addco bar. (double the thickness)

Also discovered a bunch of gear oil on the inside of one of my rear wheels. That's going to be fun to deal with.

Unbolted and re-torqued all my control arms and track bar. Looked for any bad bushings, didn't notice anything unusual . Trying to chase down a wandering issue I've been having.

Just did my axle seals. Not too bad of a job. I got all of the parts from Kolak for 45 bucks and it took three hours to do including brakes. I used this write up to guide me (Dana 35)

I was getting worried after reading like three posts in two days about rust issues on the underside. I spent about two hours under the WJ with a pressure washer and a brillo pad. No rust anywhere
