Started a "Build" thread. Lot's of pictures... I'm not sure it's really a "build" thread because I wouldn't really consider my Jeep built. It's just different...

Bought some tools to build more for the jeep.

Got my JD2 model 3 bender. Made a stand for it. They wanted 135 + shipping but built mine for 15. Also picked up a 8 ton air ram for 45 that I'm gunna mount to it tomorrow.

The scrap metal place here has good deals on scrap so i got two 10' 1 1/2 thick wall DOM tube for 25 bucks. Gunna make extensions for the sliders to start with.

I was gonna say, there better be a good reason you're taking it to the dealer for that oil change, I've seen your posts, I know you can do it, hah.

Swapped out my liftgate to get rid of my rusty one. Added the rear cargo area 12v lighter socket. Mine didnt have wiring so it was a pain in the rear.

Also fixed my front lighter socket because the trim around it was broken and it was just pushing straight into the dash. I couldnt plug anything into it.

Installed the JY driveshaft only to find that my vibes are still there, only not as bad as with my carolina driveline shaft.

The odd part is I only get vibes at around 60km/hr and then they disappear when I go faster, or when I let off the gas. If it was a driveshaft balance issue wouldnt it continue to get worse the faster it spun? Im starting to get mad at my driveline vibes. Im only at 3" of lift! Ridiculous. Aside from swapping transfer cases Im not sure what else to do.

temp installed all my guages and wired all the lights, power, and grounds. only thing left is to install the sending units and route the wires.

the dash guages are sunk a little low for some people maybe (cant see the words diff temp) but i think it came out really good. and still had enough room for my fog light switches which ill be re routing the wires for when i do the sending units (currently disconected). only issue i came accrost was figuring out how to get the lights to work with the dimmer (instructions said to hook ground to dimmer but power needed to go to dimmer).
