How is the beam on the fogs? Does it have nice cutoff and some good spread? Pics would be awesome.

They are great now... Clean cut off on top and good "spread" to the sides. Couldn't be happier...

About $230 on eBay, the HIDs I had before hand already.... Installation wasn't to bad, but the wiring can be a bit tricky... Not to bad though. All though I had to take the fog apart to fit the bulb

Didnt do it to MY WJ yet, but hit the junkyard and finally found ONE WJ. I've only ever seen one other WJ in the yard here, so it was a good day. It was an 03 Limited I believe. Unfortunately the leather was trashed, and it was the wrong color anyway.

I did manage to get another front driveshaft as a spare/experiment to see if the vibes are actually from my other brand new shaft.

I also got the steering wheel control switches, the rear lighter socket outlet, and a replacement dash lighter socket.

Grabbed the vari-lok rear carrier assembly hoping it was just the carrier that needed to be swapped with my open carrier, but from what I've been reading on here the axle shafts are a different length too. Oh well. Maybe I'll still swap it in one day. The axle shafts were already gone

Tomorrow is going to be a big day I think. I'll try to take pics of the progress as I go. Lots of repairs etc to do.

Took the HIDs out of my fogs and put in some yellow 9005's. Also put the 3000k bulbs in my lows to replace the 5000k's. Not permanent but fun for now. They actually work incredibly well. I actually kind of like it.

got about 70% of the way done with my in dash cluster today. oh and i took picks of it have way done for once...lol.

if you look at it from the driver seat the top of my bracket only covers about 1/3 of the odometer number, but it could be done so it sites a little lower. also there is a 4in gap between the side dash panels and the bracket, for yall wondering about switches beeing in the way.

i still have to cut the panel on the sides (only) im leaving the middle section and bending it up onto the bracket and trimming it to fit around the guages. kind of keep a stock look to it, if possible. but picked up some paint that matches the panel so i can at least blend everything togeather nicely if the bending thing doesnt work. ill have pics of that tomorrow. but heres what i got so far.

the alluminum i used was .05 thick alclad. and 2 9/16" wide at the gauges. then right after the bend tappered down to 1 1/4" on a 2 or 3" slant (cant remeber) continued the slant cut line through the 1 1/4" section and drew a 1 1/4" equalteral triangle for bend lines. bent at each line 45 deg. then put it in a vice and worked to my liking...lol. here is the result so far...

Replaced my OEM steering stabilizer with a Moog TrailBoss. Wow those nuts were on there tight! Hopefully I won't be calling my WJ "Michael J" anymore when driving on the highway.

Also installed cabin air filter kit.

This was this weeks work,

1) Redid my cladding
old

new


2)Replaced Transmission to radiator hose, (PITA to remove)


3)Paint grill black and did grill mod


4)Changed out my ripped CV boot and sanded and painted my front driveshaft
(lonely D30)




5)Change out Fuel filter (5 min job )


6) Current project, changing out and installing my new addco 684!

Replaced the rear stabilizer bar of my otherwise stock '03 with an Addco 684. I am amazed at the difference it made in handling.
