Washed it, and fixed the leaky fill plug on the rear diff cover with a little teflon tape.

Got my first oil change done, and had the tires rotated. Was also told my tc is leaking a little bit, most likely a seal. And there is a leak somewhere in my shocks, but I guess that doesn't matter because they are about to be replaced with the lift kit.

Replaced my teves up front with akebonos finally, so glad I got that over with. Also swapped in a new seat belt retainer so I don't close the door on my belt anymore...

putting big *** tires on
ok so i'm putting new tires on my 2004 grand cherakee wj they are 35s 12.50 wide. i have some body work done to the front and rear bumper so they dont get in the way but the wheel wells are the stock specs. it has a 4 in. lift and the rims have a 4.25 offset away from the body. I need to know if i will run into any problems after putting these on if the even fit in there.
some one on here has to know right???

Your going to need to cut your fenders most likely, a lot...

I wanted larger tires so first swapped in 3.73 axles. Then I chose the best
tire size for gas mileage based the chart below and lifted to the lowest
height to accommodate those tires.
Check these charts out...
Tire Size vs Lift
Tire Size vs Gear Ratio

That chart is for a ZJ...
And this http://www.grimmjeeper.com/gears.html is an awesome site to calculate tire vs. gear ratio. This will give you actual results because you can input your transmission gear ratios.

as far as I'm concerned shouldnt make a difference... ZJ and WJs both had 42res and both came with d35/d30 with 3.55s in basic form
