Picked up my wj after putting an engine in it last week. cleaned it all up as it was a complete mess when it was given to me and then drove home paranoid something was gonna go wrong. Which half way home I found my right front caliper to be sticking and have a bunch of starnge noises to figure out.

Changed my oil. Mobile 1 high mileage synthetic. Mine says it is full (right in the upper part of the "safe" area) with only 5 quarts added. I added 5.5 quarts last time and said it was a little overfull. I let it drip for about 10 minutes after I pull the plug. Not sure why because I know it is supposed to take 6 quarts. Dipstick and dipstick tube are in correctly. Runs great. Maybe lots of sludge in pan but I highly doubt it because it does look like the oil was the only thing changed regularly by the PO Next time, I might try spraying some carb cleaner through the drain plug hole then jacking the front up to see if any nasty stuff runs out.

Does it still count if I forgot to post this yesterday?
I changed the oil, replaced the front hood lift struts, replaced the rear trunk lift struts. The parts store sold me the wrong rear lift struts for the rear glass so will have to be returned. Washed it and vacuumed out the inside. Previous owner had pets and ton of pet hair in the rear cargo area.
