thanks ..im actually upgrading to and IRO lift ..i dont have the x series but i have everything that comes with the x series minus the adj. control arms ...when i got my lift the x series wasnt even an option

if you really want the rough country i would upgrade to better control arms and order sway bar links for a 4 inch lift ...rough country just uses a block to extend you stock rear sway bar very unprofessional if you ask me ..ride quality is OK but your gonna need more parts to make it ride better

I drove my wj to buy another wj!! the wife said she wanted one so she gets one.. its a 2004 Laredo with only 83000 and I have never seen a cleaner wj! right now it is at my brother in laws shop getting all the fluids changed and new brakes and tires so when it is done it will look like new!!! I'm actually kinda jealous of how clean it is.. oh well mine has the HO v8!!

Damn yeah. I'm just not sure what to do. I'm kind of scared by the whole driveshaft thing. Having my Jeep go into 2wd mode when I'm out and about exploring sounds like a nightmare lol!

I'm trying to compare these two lifts and its a hypothetical at this point because I'm not sure I want to spend that much -ultimately I may be sticking with a 3 inch iro lift with jk discos and an adjustable trackbar.

id go with IRO ..very well known ran lift around here on JF ..and the drive shaft thing your just gonna have to deal with(its a WJ thing).. but once you get a new one your set and have no worries ..lifting a WJ is pricey and if you go the cheaper route your actually spending more money down the road on repairs/replacement parts ...thats just my viewpoint ..im sure alot of others have something different to say

Nice looking wj JerzeyBoyWJ, you ever get any slack having that wide of tires on the street?

If you can get the IRO adjustable a-arm along with the rear WJ 0-6.5" straight lower adjustable control arms so you can center your rear tires where you want them, just tell them to keep the $99.99 A-Arm Spacer Kit and use that money twards the adjustable a-arm

ordered new bushings and mounting hardware for rear sway links from IRO. Once those get here it's new coil isolators, KOR's shock mounting bolt sleeves, and the new bushings in the rear links.

It's a Jeep, it's not supposed to work right all the time.

finally broke down and took her into the shop today to get the passenger window fixed. Turns out it's a regulator, gonna run me about $150. Not as bad as it could be, I'm sure, but I miss the days when power windows just came off the track instead of breaking all that plastic crap

Guess I learned my lesson, don't try to roll the window down when it might be frozen shut with ice.

Took the 2000 WJ 4.7 in to the shop to have outer tie rods replaced, still had the original tie rods, with the Moog brand, my mechanic said the Moog have Brass innards and are much better quality than the other brands. Also, finally took the advice of many others and had my green coolant flushed out and replaced with Zerex G-05 (mixed w/ distilled water) . Grand total of $300. Taking into Goodyear auto today to have an alignment. BTW, Goodyear takes competitor coupons so I took in a $58 Brakes Plus alignment coupon and they match the $.
