Haha, I'd love to. But not right now, I have to pay my worker next week and I'm still waiting for my clients to pay me. Don't you just love the economy these days...

Anyway, found a cool video, though it's not a wj:

Running great, and I believe my fuel mileage has increased by about 7%.

Your buddy shouldnt have ripped you off. Retail price: [Radiator hose $20, couple gals of coolant $30, tranny Filter $40, fuel filter $30, Oil PSI unit $30, Diff oil $20, spark plugs $30, wires (dont exist on a WJ) $?, distributor (doesnt exist on a WJ) $?, serpentine belt $30, Shocks $160] = $390

Edit: ACTUALLY I think the very very early 99 WJs were distributor and coil, but that'd only add $40 to the total

flush and fill coolant with new radiator hose takes an hour, tranny fluid and filter give that 1 hour, fuel filter takes 15 minutes, Oil PSI unit takes 15 minutes, diff oil give that an hour, plugs takes 30 minutes, belt takes 5 minutes, shocks give those an hour. Thats what it'd take me, an experienced mechanic with the right tools should be quicker. Thats 5 hours so he charged you $160/hour, almost double the Jeep dealership standard labor rate. Sorry bud this guy took your wallet downtown and back hard.

Spray painted my rock rails and wheel spacers gloss black to match the rest of the WJ. No pics because my blackberry camera doesn't work (in general, the whole phone doesn't work too well either). Will take pics when everything is dried and installed in about a week. Also, tried on the 255/75/17 BFG mt ka's from a wrangler. Got it up to about 60 with no dw - man those tires are loud. It looks like I won't need to trim much, even at full flex, because I am bumpstopped and the tires only have about 30% tread left. I trimmed just a bit of the inner fender liner, but haven't needed to touch the bumper yet.

Today I replaced the driver side tail light housing and also put a new brake light bulb in it.

Also started using a DIY dent remover to try fix or improve the big ole dent in my quarter panel... And... It's actually starting to look better!!! More attempts tomorrow.

Finally finished my passenger side balljoints. It's about 12 degrees outside and is snowing, I needed to get the jeep done to be able to go get my plow truck assembly was quick and easy. I had to use the balljoint press i rented in the most dangerous way possible.
All in all i highly doubt that it will fix my dw, had slight popping from upper bj and lots of slop in the tre to the pitman which i changed out the day before. I really hope i am wrong and it has gone away. If not, its one less character in the criminal line up

I'd love it, but the price for shocks and coils alone is 600 euro plus install plus inspection so it can be road legal. So that all amounts to roughly 1-1,2k $.
So I guess jeep will stay at stock height for now. (but will definetly get lifted )
