Drove to work to refresh the pages on my orders...


2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7 low output quadradrive. 31in General Grabber AT2, OME HD, bilstein 5100, IRO sway links, addco rear sway. Kolak 3in exhaust with flowmaster SUV 50, magnaflow 3in cat, Custom K and N FIPK, modded airbox with ram air, Fastman 71mm Throttle body, PML RFE Deep pan, Autometer digital trans temp gauge, P.I.E. aux adapter, Infinity reference 3.5/6x9/6.5, 200w inverter, surco rack, front/rear/cargo husky liners.

How the hell did you burn out, what t case do you have???? Never been able to spin the tires with the 247 even on wet roads.

I'm guessing you can't spin with the 247 because of your loss in power with the lift and tires.. I have the 247 with the 4.7 HO and could barely chirp the tires at 3" of lift.. now that I'm at 6.5" of lift and am running 33" mud grapplers there is no chance of spinning the tires at all.

Gota question I have a 03 wj 4.7 Laredo selecttrac where can I get a new throttle body like a bigger one because bbk sells one but it says 99-02 would that fit?

I have the 4.7 with a couple of bolt on's and the 247. I can chirp the tires on dry roads, and totally break it loose for a couple solid seconds if there's gravel or water on the road. It always brightens my day.

On that note, I started shopping for new tires today. At 50,000 miles they're starting to show a little wear haha. That probably helps with the lack of traction, too...

My roomate has a niner with totally bald tires and straight pipes. It's one of the most dangerous vehicles I've ever driven.

Well I know a 4.7 low ouput can spin the tires even with a 6" lift and 33's. When I killed my front drivehshaft and rode around 2wd for a while I was able to break traction on dry pavement from a stop everytime. Just gotta have 2wd. One of the reasons I want a 242 swap, 2wd option

Could always bolts on a supercharger for extra ponies, but that might be overkill..
bore/stroke it to be like a 5.0 or bigger, that would help
Not sure though on the bolt on Throttle body.

Took mine to the car wash today to finally wash down all the salt. Road workers are using salt like crazy and driving 100 miles every day mostly on highway made my black dub almost white
