Had 2 minutes of snow fun with mine today on a parking lot

BTW, anyone else noticed that the engine starts up a lot smoother if you press the gas pedal once (about halfway) before you start it up (w/o key in ingition and not touching gas pedal while starting up)?

I'll go try that out but in theory if your IAC and everything else is in good shape it shouldnt make a difference. Also when I start my Jeep I turn it to on and give it 3-5 seconds before cranking I guess in theory if you jump right to start and the IAC doesnt have enough time to move around it could act up

Well, TPS is about 6 months old, but I only cleaned the IAC when I changed the TPS. Maybe it's time to get a new IAC. I'm also planning on doing spark plugs & fuel filter some time in the spring.

Oh, and I generally wait about 3 seconds before cranking it. It's a habit from diesels I owned before (had to wait even longer in the winter so the glow plugs would heat up and even then I had enormous trouble starting up in the morning).

I waited the couple seconds between run and start for the ecu to wake up like always, I then backed it into my mailbox.

Bent the fuel door a little, scratched a little paint but no dents and looks like mainly just grey paint from the mailbox.

Washed it and the WK,
Pulled instrument cluster and replaced burned out bulbs.
Removed driver's seat and added foam so my posterior doesn't ride on the seat frame

Really I've been workin on this for a couple days but finally finished it up. Finally secured homemade roof rack, with 4 100watt HF lights up front and 2 55watt HF lights in the back, And installed a factory hitch that I got off craigslist for $20. Didn't wanna spend the money on the bezel so I went the cheap trim route. Next weekend will be 2" BB, new tires, brakes, cv shafts, and hopefully test it all out.

It's a Jeep, it's not supposed to work right all the time.

My Wjs driveshaft decided to break while I was driving 55 mph. It also thought that it would destroy my transfer case to. This sucks. I am going to need a new driveshaft and transfer case.

Great excuse for a 242 swap!

Today I took my Jeep for a short drive, played around with the kickdown cable some more, still isnt exactly where I want it but better.

drive mine a couple hours to sell my bike. it was the first time pulling anything since I put the new lift on and I had to run to the store and buy a drop down bracket for my hitch to make the trailer level.
