Replaced the stock shocks with Bilsteins. This WJ is a 2003 with 67,000 miles. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and am really enjoying it. The new shocks really changes the way it rides.

Check out amazon, that's where I got our high/low beam sets for about 1/2 what it would cost elsewhere.

Bought a set of 255/75/17 BFG M/Ts from a 2010 Wrangler with around 40% tread off craigslist for $75.

I put them on a 2" BB and I was surprised that they don't rub that bad. Only really tight turns in reverse.

Finally got around to putting my transmission back together and back in the jeep. Also replaced the starter. I can drive it again!

Went and took mine to wash off the salt. When wiping down the windows, I found the passenger side front glass has some deep scratches. Started to wonder if a tree branch fell on her. Then noticed the wind reflector was marked up too. It didn't form a picture till I looked at it from inside.
It looks like a brick print! I think someone tried a smash and grab. The reflector took the the impact and the glass didn't break.
I'm so pissed. I don't know when it happened but ill be reviewing the security cameras when I get back to work Monday. I hate low life losers.
Here is a crappy pic. Its hard to focus on glass. You can see the reflector scrape but the glass is blured a bit.
Is there a way to get the glass repaired?

I think the eastwood company (google it) sells a glass polishing kit that MIGHT work, but honestly its nothing like paint. If you can feel it with your fingernail you might be better off just getting new glass. Might be worth it to call a few glass companies and ask them whats going on.

Good luck man

It's not the cost that's the problem. I can't get them anywhere over here. I guess I'll order 50 from amazon and sell them over here

Hosed off the salt. Contemplated starting the teardown /cleaning of the memory mirror sensors, but worked on one of the XJs a bit instead.

Eyeballed the minor dings, scratches, chips and slight rust that is going to be repaired / prepped / and painted by the fall as I am starting some autobody / restoration classes at the local Vo-Tec.
