Drove my newborn baby boy home in it for the first time! As soon as he got in no fuss almost as if he remembered all the rides in it.

I really like the bumper design, but the swing down looks like it would be a royal pain in the butt to lift back up, especially with a heavy tire

Its an aftermarket one isnt it? I dont like those either, the factory one where it sits up in the bumper is where its at.

Is there a particular type of paint you should use? Like one made better for plastic?

On another note gonna sit down with my machinest today and start working on one of my four projects. 1. Swing out tire carrier.
2. Recessed winch plate.
3. Roof rack
4. Rock rails. (He wants to use me as a guinie pig)

I used Rustoleum Satin Black, looks greats and easy application on any surface.

called and got prices for resurfacing and valve job on the heads for my jeep. best price from a shop i've dealt with before is $285 for both including pressure testing and cleaning. not a bad deal.

other than that, jeep is still untouched though. i'm considering a 3" lift after the head gasket replacement is finished

Finally got my Rusty's Offroad A-arm from UPS after a bit of a fight with them. It all worked out in the end tho.

This thing is pure BEEF! Im very very very impressed with the quality of workmanship and parts used. I was going to try to wait until sunday to install it because the weather is supposed to be 10 degrees warmer, but I might suck it up and dive into it today.

Thanks! It's not that bad to lift. It was designed to add some 100lb gas struts to aid in the lifting, but I didn't end up using them. Just isn't bad to lift at all.

Good workout. Just have to use some man strength. On a pivot arm like that I could lift a 200 lb wheel and tire without too much trouble.
