finally finished the front brake swap from ATE to the AKE style. totally different ride quality now. no more mild to strong pulsing in my pedal when stopping, and crazy shaking going if i drive longer then 20 min. also the brakes seem to stop my truck alot better now too. all in all it was worth the 250$ to swap!

got everything from autozone. if anyone wants the part numbers you need pm me. everything together costs about 280-290ish$. and then you get 22$ back for each caliper core charge.

ok ill just post the part numbers here: to do the change you will neen part number;

C695 and C694 : front calipers
14-1241 : caliper braket (need 2)
pads from autozone are either : DG945SD, 0945-20, or DGC945(mine)
rotors from auto zone are : DGR5118, 5118(mine), or 5118B

very easy job to due on your own. and the calipers come with sliders, grease, pad clips, and new copper washers in the box.

If you get the calipers from parts plus, they come with the brackets. I paid $150 for my calipers and a set of ceramic pads.

Through the Autozone website it came up to around $300. $54 per caliper = $108 then $20 per bracket = $148 then $46 per rotor = $240 then a $55 set of Cmax pads = $295. This is before tax too. How'd you save $60?

Caliper prices are after core return

do a autozone search for zipcode 28574.. caliper 42/per, braket 20/per, rotor 48/per and pads 50. then minus the 22$/per caliper core charge. youll get 226$ add tax

Ahh thats weird how the pricing is different depending on which area you are even though Autozone is corporate. Alright explains that.

I feel obligated to make an on topic post so I should mention I now have plates for the WJ and will be driving it in a couple weeks. Think I'll do a nice "stock pics" shoot and snap some pictures while its still stock

Got rid of the drop pitman arm that came with the teraflex kit and put a new stock one back on. Hopefully that cures my death wobble. Also put some "1in" spacers in the rear trying to put the factory rake back in it. But for some reason they only gave me about a 1/2 in. Before i was sitting at 23" in the front, 22" rear (hub to fender.) Now im sitting 23"f and 22.5"rear. Not exactly what i was looking for, but its an improvement.
