He most likely did. I used it and it worked awesome and really easy to do. Ill post up a pic of mine later! I did the same sort of thing.

Had the dealer put it in 3 months ago, but the part that annoys me the most? The fluid dripping out of it is red. They put ATF+4 into a new box, and what do you know, now it's leaking from a seal. UGH.
Dealership used ATF in a v8 WJ? Hmmm does yours have a hydro cooling fan? If so go chew them out something fierce ATF would be acceptable in an i6 Jeep or an early V8 with an e-fan but the pump with the hydro fan in most v8 WJs absolutely requires the special fluid they have there.

Its pretty much just power steering fluid, but yeah ATF is bad juju for the hydro fan.

Didn't do it yet, buy i decided that this year jeep's getting a 2 inch lift. Now i just have to get the money together, because springs and shocks alone will cost aroud 650 euro plus install plus paperwork so i'll be at around 900 euro easily, that amounts to around $1.2k.

That's what I used. Just use very light coats and it doesn't get very dark.

I would recommend clear coating over the VHT. The VHT will peel off in about a year.

Ordered a K&N Intake tube and an Amsoil 6x9 dry filter for it. Making room for the ZJ washer bottle!
