I do it pretty often, it's only weird when the person walks out and is like uhhh heyyyyyy. And you just walk away.

Replaced my cb antenna mount, had a bracket on the lift gate before, this is much cleaner not wires hanging around.

My WJ isn't a dd..... in fact, it hasn't moved in a week. Anyway, go to get into it today and notice a wet spot on driveway under passenger side floor board... pull passengerside rubber floor mat and sure enough carpet is wet.... smells like dirty water, not coolant... I'm thinking either AC drain, or Sunroof drain line.. It's been cold here so only heat & defroster have been used in a month or longer.. does the AC drain when defroster has been used? If Sunroof drain line plugs, would it drip water on the Husky mat or wet the carpet under matt?

Was thinking about taking off the front bumper for offroading, but it looks to be illegal according to DMV http://dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d12/vc28071.htm Do you know for certain the legality or just not too worried about getting pulled over?

It is illegal, front and rear bumpers are required for non-commercial vehicles. Commercial vehicles only have to have a front bumper.

technically it's the bumper cover. i have been daily driving mine w/o the cover for 2 months now and no problems.

today i bought what i believe is the Aries grille guard for $80 + traded some things. always liked the look on WJs, but just cost too much brand new. but for $80, couldn't let it go.

It's a Jeep, it's not supposed to work right all the time.

Florida seems to be a lot more lax on vehicles than California. Police here will write you for even minor mods.

Don't have any pics at the moment. The four mounting bolts for the skid are at each corner but two of the holes on the skid aren't holes. Don't know what the technical name for something like that is, but you only have to remove two bolts and the other two only have to be loosened to give enough wiggle room to drop the skid. I'm at work at the moment, but I can snap some pics when I get off work later today.
