Grind a flat spot on one side with the dremel then grab with the wise grips

Got a welder?

Weld a nut on the end of that bolt, let it cool, then back it out.

Binding on what? The housing is removed, bolt should back right out.... was there signs of thread locker on the threads of the other bolt?

Why was it binding? Cross threaded? Lock tight used?

Fun times, more tweaking on the WJ lately...

- Centered the steering wheel by adjusting the drag bar link.

- Modified the hood lift assists so I didn't have to spend $50 buying new ones. What a BS design, but I got 'em fixed up right. I removed the lift assists, drilled holes in the pistons at full travel (extended) and now I use cotter pins to keep them extended, thus holding up the hood. I used drop ceiling wire to keep the pins near the lift assists. Works excellent, will never fail, and kept $50 in my pocket.

- Polished up the headlight lenses, got rid of some oxidation, not perfectly clear but much better.

Did the folding seat, quick release pin mod today. It was easy and cheap ($12), but I did a write up with more pics in my build thread. Can never have enough write-ups.

Haha that's good stuff. I kind of wish I could have that jeep around as a part truck lol it was an 02 limited I believe and she had so many extras. It's too bad the engine wound up through the back seat my brother in law walked away with a scratch and a bruised chest from the seat belt. Lucky kid.

That's awesome. May have to do that.

No work recently. Waiting to get money to buy new shocks and springs to finish the lift
