sorry to be off topic but i know a lot of people follow this thread. i need some opinions and help deciding on the IRO 3inch kit+ adjustable TB upgrade (now with free shipping for the holidays) or the OME HD coils + JKS TB + Rancho 5000s from KOLAk. I'm on a budget and cant really drop the coin on the bilsteins even though I know they are the bomb..... Ive done a lot of research on here and other sites and i just cant decide. when its all said and done there's about 200$ difference in the two. basicly what im asking is is it worth it to spend the extra cash? but to relate this to the topic i have been looking at my WJ all day dreaming of more lift and a better ride.....my BB on a smashed SS and 4 worn out tired stock shocks isn't really cutting it anymore. thanks for the insight

Hey! My first post, didn't do this today, but rather last Thursday...

Pulled my new to me (and first) Jeep home. 400 mile round trip.

It's an '04 Overland, 140k miles. One lady owner, never off road, never towed anything, maintained very well, no issues. No joke, i've never seen a used vehicle look so close to new. LOVE IT!!!

Looks good what size tires? IMHO it needs bigger tires now.

What lift do you have as far as coils, arms, shocks, trac bar, etc?

Put in Lucas fuel treatment/upper cylinder lubricant, and Lucas deep clean fuel system cleaner. Put in whole can of deep clean and 10oz of upper cylinder lubricant (enough for 30 gallons), then filled her up from just under half a tank. So far I have driven about 10 miles and did one WOT run from a stop to 60. What a difference in acceleration it is so much smoother at WOT now. It was a little rough before. Previous owner did not maintain my WJ very well and seems like they used low quality gas so lots of gunky buildup.

I need to replace my belt as it is original from 01 with 102K miles on it LOL. Also needs the PCV valve replaced.

Details on his 5.5" lift are missing, but if you would have filled out your profile information you'd know where to find HIS tire size.

Urban Dictionary:
1. Butt Dyno - A device which implements a human being's rear-end to report a vehicle's performance in acceleration or engine power.

You have improved/smoother performance, but the butt dyno thing is still funny. lol

Yeah I know LOL. I tune cars as one of my jobs so lots of real dynos for me as well. My butt dyno is well calibrated though from all the street tuning (lots of 60-100 MPH pulls) and lots of dyno pulls.

DJ Peters,

That Overland is really nice, you're going to love it. Did it come with the RB1 nav?

General maintenance stuff after my radiator started leaking: new radiator, hoses, belts, thermostat, oil, filters, cleaned the throttle body, put some SeaFoam in the brake booster line, and washed it...
