A pan with lid from the restaurant supply store, a grill thermo, and some rivets. Going to mount it on my exhaust manifold so I can have hot burgers, dogs, burritos on the trail. I modeled after the one Theksmith made.

I by no means broke any land speed records. I didn't work at a break neck speed, and I took breaks when I wanted them. I did the work over labor day weekend so no rush. Tore it apart one day. Put is back together on second day. Start to finish, Including cleaning the engine bay, I had about 12 - 15 hours total in the job including having the AC charged by a quick lube place.

I have posted these pics before, but here they are again.



Here is my engine bay..... not bad for a Jeep with 166K on the clock.

Thats awesome... I dont know how easily that'd work for us 4.0 guys given our intake manifold completely covers the exhaust manifold.... but thats still awesome.

On topic, the other day I did my front brakes and rotors, oh so shiny parts now they treated me well over my 400mi trip back up to school. Jeep is running good

I thought the exact same thing! I was really not wanting to do it, but it is not bad at all. I would take it apart again in a heartbeat. I had a whole day in mine. I took it apart and put it back together in one day. I had about 12 hours, but that was eating, going to parts store ect..... It is reallt not bad at all.

If you had time, you aughta throw down some monstaliner while you have it apart.

Just got in from Lining my cargo area and rear passenger floorboards. Got pretty cold, but went down nicely, I thined it and used a brush. Tough stuff to mix in the cold though. I only hope I got it mixed thoroughly. Still need to take the front seats out and hit those floors.

I have already got it back together. I did however think about doing that. I will probably take it back apart this summer and do all the floor.

That looked like a lot of work! Hopefully I won't have to tear that far into mine in the near future! I am not a big fan of dashboard work.

Yes you are correct. I changed my interior from Camel to Grey so I had to change the dash pad out.

I didn't realize that you replaced the pads, versus painting them. What are you going to do about matching rest of the interior, or do you plan on running two tone?

I changed everything out in mine. All grey. I have a Camel interior for sale.
