I'm glad this thread was made, its nice to see all the things people are doing with their WJs, helps give me ideas. I stared at my WJ today. I can't drive it yet because its not cleared with insurance (its new on my plan) but mainly I have a suspension for another 2 months for speeding in the XJ. Its nice and clean though, I'm claybarring the outisde if the weather freshens up

Oh and also, I used heated seats switched out of another limited (mine didnt have heated seats for whatever reason) and I stripped them of paint and repainted them with nylon paint with a small square cutout in the center for illumination purposes. I used a labeling kit from a marine switch panel and popped on labels so it looks clean and also illuminates at night. They look amazing. Tutorial coming soon

Do you have JKS discos? Mine have a nice clunk in them when I'm connected and go over large potholes/curbs. It's the one thing I don't like about the quicker discos.

I just put new Raybestos rotors on the front and Performance Friction pads all the way around plus replaced all the brake fluid with DOT4. It stops MUCH better now.

I do, and when I disconnect them the clunk goes away, but it came on suddenly. The disconnects feel like they have the same tolerances they have always had (and I have never had a clunk before). I might have to track down another pair (that don't clunk) and see if that fixes the issue.

Wj New WJ for us

Yesterday I got flamed by the warden for getting the tires dirty. JEEEZ.

Tried a round of Plast-X on the cloudy headlights, better, but I'll start wet sanding soon!

Gotta start somewhere

A couple weeks ago, I threw on a 2" BB lift and new extended travel shocks from Rocky Road Outfitters. A few days later I trimmed my front bumper to fit larger tires, and today, I got a set of 265/75/16 Goodyear Duratrac to complete the look. Im happy with it. Still have more work I want to do, but for now, its a start.

After replacing almost every part and fluid imaginable, I kicked spit cursed and threw dirt because my 4.0 still runs rough at idle. A new TPS helped the hanging high idle problem but still idles rough. I got it from advance - maybe the after market part isn't up to the job. Still waiting for the fuel injector cleaner to run through.

So far have done -
Akebono front caliper upgrade
Napa ultra premium front rotors
Rear dif flush w/ new axle bearing and seal
Trans Flush
Power Steering flush
Brake Flush
Cleaned intake/throttle
New Spark Plugs
New Air Filter
New Fuel Filter
Added fuel injector cleaner
Soon:
LT235/75R15 Wrangler Silent Armor Load D
Coolant flush
Transfer case flush
Front Differential Flush
Sell? We'll see if it runs right!

Does anybody have any idea how to get these things to idle smooth? I saw an older one today with a distributor that was running a hell of a lot smoother than mine. Woof
